Weicon Easy-Mix PU-90 - polyurethane structural adhesive - weicon Easy-Mix PU-240
High strength, extremely fast curing, high viscosity, very short open time (90 / 240 seconds)
WEICON Easy-Mix PU-90 / PU-240 Structural Adhesive can be sanded and painted after approx. 30 minutes, is weather-resistant, chemical-resistant and temperature-resistant from -55 °C to +125 °C (-67 to +257 °F). PU-90 / PU-240 bonds many materials together, such as composite fibres, plastics, polyurethane, epoxy resins, polyesters, metals, wood and ceramics. The adhesive has high tensile, shear and peel strength. PU-90 / PU-240 can be used in plastics technology, in mechanical engineering, in modelling and moulding, in metal construction, in ship and boat building.
The Easy-Mix D 50 dispensing gun is required to process Easy-Mix products in 50 ml containers.

Application method:
The conditions for perfect bonding are clean and dry surfaces (cleaning and degreasing with WEICON Surface Cleaner). Smooth surfaces should be machined. WEICON Easy-Mix products can be applied directly from the double cartridge using a static mixer. Discard the first 5 cm of the adhesive. The adhesive is applied from one side. The open times given refer to a 10 ml mixture at room temperature. Larger quantities will cure faster due to the thermal reaction typical of epoxy resins. Higher temperatures shorten the curing time and the open time of the adhesive processing. (as a guide - each 10°C above room temperature shortens both times by 50%). At temperatures below +16°C the open time and the curing time are extended. From a temperature of approx. +5°C no further reaction occurs.

Świetny smar do mechanizmów precyzyjnych. Smaruję nim mechanikę magnetofonów, magnetowidów itp. Nie działa negatywnie na elementy gumowe jak też plastikowe. Jest dość rzadki i nie stwarza oporu dla precyzyjnych urządzeń. Świetnie je wycisza. Jest jeszcze jeden smar YM103 ale dostępny tyko w 1 kg puszkach. On jest nieco gęstszy.
