Greases for screw drives
Screw drives convert rotary motion into linear motion in motion control and linear actuation applications. Simply put, lubrication is required to reduce friction, reduce wear, and extend service life. The choice of lubricants is typically made from wet lubricants, such as traditional greases and pastes, or dry lubricants.
Dry lubricants, also known as anti-friction coatings, can be very beneficial to avoid the build-up of contaminants over time.
