Rust converter and primer in one application

WEICON Rust Converter is used to effectively neutralize rust on cast iron and steel surfaces. Protects against corrosion in outdoor and indoor applications. The rust converter is based on epoxy resin and reacts with the rust layer
produces an organometallic iron complex. This bond is stabilized with a special epoxy resin that protects the metals from external influences. The resulting black coating is
base coat and is a good primer before further application of permanent coatings. The product protects against corrosion, has excellent penetrating properties and high impermeability to light. In addition to resistance to temperatures up to +80°C (below 15 minutes - up to +160°C), the coating is also highly resistant to weather conditions, UV radiation and solvents. WEICON Rust Converter is odorless and free of heavy metals and mineral acids. Rust Converter can be used on all surfaces covered with rust, e.g. in industrial machines, agricultural equipment or motor vehicles, as well as as a coating
protection against corrosion.
