High-performance wire rope dewatering lubricant in aerosol

ROCOL® Wire Rope Spray is a high-performance liquid version of ROCOL Wire Rope Dressing. A specially selected petroleum solvent added to the formulation provides both improved dewatering and penetration properties, making the product particularly suitable for use on wet ropes.

The convenience of an aerosol dispenser makes this product ideal for controlled use on equipment such as mobile cranes, etc.

After evaporation of the solvent, it is highly water resistant and provides excellent protection against corrosion, making it suitable for use even in salt water environments.

Tips for storage and use

• ROCOL Wire Rope Spray should be stored out of direct sunlight.
• The storage temperature of ROCOL Wire Rope Spray should be controlled to less than 50°C.
• If ROCOL Wire Rope Spray is stored according to the above guidelines, the shelf life is 5 years from the date of production.
• Shake ROCOL Wire Rope Spray well before use.
• Hold the can upright and spray from a sufficient distance to ensure even coverage of the entire rope.
• The minimum application temperature of ROCOL Wire Rope Spray is 0°C.
• For best results, always apply ROCOL Wire Rope Spray to clean, dry ropes.
• Approximate rope range, based on a 25mm diameter rope, is 20 to 30 metres per spray.
