Lubricants for sliding guides

Rails, guides and other sliding components require high-performance lubricants and cleaners to ensure efficient operation. The transportation industry has countless applications for guides, rails and tracks. The speed of relative movement of guides and tracks is usually slower and no more than about 10 - 20 feet per minute.

• For lower speeds and higher loads, the grease should have a higher viscosity or even contain some type of solid lubricant - lubricating paste, because it is more difficult to form a lubrication film.
• Conversely, for higher speeds and lower loads, lower viscosity greases and oils without solid lubricants should be used.

There are many options to consider, including oils, greases, pastes or dry film lubricants, so-called sliding coatings. The use of dry anti-friction coatings prevents the attraction of dust and dirt, thus ensuring free movement of parts for a long time.
