MOLYKOTE® Z Powder is a high quality molybdenum powder (molybdenum disulfide, MOS2) that provides extreme pressure and oxidation resistance for lubrication requirements. MOLYKOTE® Z Powder is produced as a charcoal, free-flowing powder with a uniform particle size of 3-4 µm. MOLYKOTE® Z Powder has an extremely wide operating temperature range of -301°F to 752°F. 
Applications
 MOLYKOTE® Z Powder is a high-performance, multi-purpose solid lubricant that can be used in many applications requiring high levels of extreme pressure (EP), anti-wear (AW) and oxidation prevention, including:
- Metal components as a dry oxidized performance additive for self-lubricating plastics
- Metalworking fluid or coolant
- Brake lining additive
- An additive that aids in the running-in of press-fit connectors.
- Equipment with high loads and low movement speeds
