The main application of PTFE micropowder is surface coating, as an additive to lubricating oil, additive in the production of plastics, plastics, cosmetics, paints, rubber and medical instruments. PTFE micropowder is commonly used as an additive to solid lubricants, lubricating oils to improve lubrication properties. Excellent dielectric properties make the electrical and electronics industry a large recipient of Teflon powder.

Applications Applications

(PTFE products must be cast or pressed from powders and then sintered for a certain period of time at temperatures above 300°C).
As a release agent for rubbers and plastics, it is added in the amount of 0.25% of the product weight.
As an additive to solid lubricants to improve lubricity, thermal resistance and increase wear resistance. Recommended use 0.5 to 7.0% (w/w). PTFE micropowder is also added to lubricating oils to improve high-pressure lubrication efficiency and to increase the viscosity of base oils in amounts from 0.5 to 4.0% (w/w).
PTFE powder, as an additive to paints and varnishes, used by weight from 0.1 to 3.0%. A large recipient of micropowder are manufacturers of printing inks, because paints with the addition of Teflon are characterized by high efficiency, gloss, abrasion resistance, water resistance and durability against fading.

Świetny smar do mechanizmów precyzyjnych. Smaruję nim mechanikę magnetofonów, magnetowidów itp. Nie działa negatywnie na elementy gumowe jak też plastikowe. Jest dość rzadki i nie stwarza oporu dla precyzyjnych urządzeń. Świetnie je wycisza. Jest jeszcze jeden smar YM103 ale dostępny tyko w 1 kg puszkach. On jest nieco gęstszy.
