Thread Paste with Molybdenum
A special product that has been created based on mineral oil, solid lubricant, thickeners, graphite with molybdenum. Its main purpose is to allow optimal tightening of screws and to introduce pre-tension in screwed and threaded connections. This paste has many advantages, such as preventing jamming of threads, preventing rust and offering both lubrication and separation of protected elements. It is also characterized by a low and constant coefficient of friction, which is not dependent on temperature and weather conditions.
When tightening bolts, the contact surfaces of the bolt and nut become tribological bodies, which means that lubrication is needed to maintain a constant friction torque and stress. During this process, high surface pressures also occur, often reaching 1000 N/mm², especially at low sliding speeds.
Bolt Grease is recommended for lubricating various components such as bolts, threaded rods, screws, grooved shafts, worm gears. It can also be used as a sealing and lapping paste for washers, wheels, flanges and screws.
Its composition has been carefully selected to significantly reduce friction torque when tightening threaded elements and reduce the tension between the bolt and nut by about 60%. It also facilitates disassembly and reduces the risk of damage resulting from working in difficult conditions, such as rain or snow, which can lead to corrosion (tribocorrosion). This paste also provides protection against freezing, rust and corrosion.
The application of the paste is standard for this type of product. Clean the surfaces on which the Bolt Grease paste is to be used, then apply it with a brush, putty knife, synthetic fabric, sponge or leather. It is important not to use too much. Vigorously spreading it over the metal surface improves adhesion. It is also important not to mix this paste with other greases or oils.

Świetny smar do mechanizmów precyzyjnych. Smaruję nim mechanikę magnetofonów, magnetowidów itp. Nie działa negatywnie na elementy gumowe jak też plastikowe. Jest dość rzadki i nie stwarza oporu dla precyzyjnych urządzeń. Świetnie je wycisza. Jest jeszcze jeden smar YM103 ale dostępny tyko w 1 kg puszkach. On jest nieco gęstszy.
