ROCOL METAL REPAIR Compound is a durable repair compound that bonds to a wide range of substrates, including various metals, and is ideal for filling cracks, etc.

Tips for storage and use

Surfaces should be clean and free from oil, grease, dust and dirt. Adhesion will be improved if the surface is roughened.
Wear lightweight disposable gloves. Break or cut off the required amount. Use at least 1/4 stick for best results.
Turn and knead until uniform in texture and color. A little heat may be felt.
Do not knead the dough for more than two minutes and then immediately apply it to the substrates, rubbing it into the cracks or holes to be filled.
Remove excess material before it hardens. This can be done with a tool moistened with clean water.
On wet or damp surfaces, the compound should be rubbed firmly into the application area and held in place until adhesion begins. The compound should not be held in place by hand as heat is generated during the curing process.
The compound will begin to harden after 5-10 minutes.
The service life is reached after 60 minutes and the mass can then be drilled, sanded, tapped, threaded or filed. Full cure will be achieved after 24 hours.
Storage temperature should be controlled between +8°C and +28°C.
The shelf life is 1 year from the date of production.
